As with all services in all sectors of the economy, especially in healthcare and plastic surgery there are vast variabilities in quality of that service. Qualifications in healthcare are measured by a physician’s privileges at specific hospital. This is the first line of vetting the doctors must meet to satisfy requirements. Also, plastic surgery has board certification as a measure of knowledge and expertise. The American Board of Plastic Surgery is my measure of top qualifications.
ENT doctors have their own method for vetting their specialists with respect to cosmetic surgery. Also, cosmetic surgery is out-of-pocket and self-pay. The fees will include anesthesia, the facility where you have the surgery, and the surgeon performing the procedure. Each one of these categories of costs has variable levels of performance. furthermore, I can honestly say that with respect to these three components the higher the level of cost most likely is a measure of qualifications and expertise.

For lack of a better analogy, high quality cosmetic surgery is basically creative anatomy. It is my opinion a type of performing art. The patients are not sick but desire to improve their bodies and appearance. Knowledge, experience, skill, training, and talent are the hallmarks of high-quality plastic surgery.

Also, the attentiveness to detail in the follow-up care are all considered when pricing for cosmetic surgery. We cut no corners for safety and achieving the best result.
This is artistry and high-quality safe service delivered with attention to detail and a commitment to being the best is the expectation. Furthermore, bargaining for the services is not appropriate and should not be done period. That’s not to say certain discounts may apply in certain situations. But for the most part for plastic surgery in my opinion the higher the fee, within limits, is usually a measure of expertise safety and quality of result.
