Hi my name is Suzanne and I’m from Orlando, Florida. Well growing up and um, in Florida, I was very overweight as a child, and as I got older, of course I just got heavier, and when I was married and had a child I reached a maximum weight of 311 pounds. When I started losing weight and was ready to have my first procedure it was because I hit a plateau and couldn’t lose any more weight, and I was starting to get, ya know, discourage on where I was going with my weight loss and I set up some consultations with Doctors, of course friends want you to go and see who they went to for their procedures. So doing research there’s not many plastic surgeons out there at are skilled in reconstructive surgery. And which when you have massive weight loss it’s pretty much what you’re having is a reconstructive surgery along with cosmetic surgery.
I did research and I met other doctors, and they were more discouraging than encouraging, they ya know, they told me I needed to lose more weight before I had surgery done, and they didn’t care that I hit a plateau, they wanted me to even lose more weight. When I talked to my father, who actually had a procedure done by Doctor Tom, he had some cosmetic stuff done as well, he’s like you need to see Doctor Trevisani. I call him Doctor Tom now because he changed my life, but I went and I met with Doctor Tom and had a consultation and he made me feel right at home, extremely comfortable.
