Nose reshaping and youthfulness – this is a very good question. All structures of the face and body are subject to the aging process. The nose is no exception. An unattractively structured nose is crucial to an attractive face.
As we age all structures of the face including the skin, the underlying tissues, the fat, muscle bone, and cartilage in all the attaching structures lose much of their youthfulness. Much of it has to do with dehydration and loss of elastic and collagen tissue in our structures. A well-structured nose will help to maintain a youthful appearance.
Our rhinoplasty patients span ages from mid-teens for females as well as women and men in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and even 70s. All the structures of the nose are subject to the aging process. In the right hands and in my opinion, utilizing the close technique a well-structured elegant nose reshaping on a female or a masculine structured nose on a male can make all the difference in the world in their appearance. That’s not to say we cannot be attractive if we don’t have the most perfect nose. However, an elegant nose and a female with a masculine nose on a male go a long way toward improving our appearance and self-confidence.
Nose Reshaping
The aging phase is a much-studied topic today. And, there are many non-surgical and surgical procedures that stop the aging process and even turn back the clock to some degree. Eyelid surgery, cheek and neck lifts as well as nonsurgical procedures all have a very specific role in combating the aging process. These procedures like nose reshaping help us maintain our most youthful and aesthetic appeal.
I really can’t talk about aging without talking about body weight. Therefore, I always urge my patients to be aware of their body weight as it relates to their height, their grooming and hygiene, and the clothes they wear. Remember elegance is an attitude and style is its voice. So yes, nose reshaping can in certain circumstances achieve and maintain a more youthful look.
