WHEN CAN I DO FILLERS AND BOTOX AFTER RHINOPLASTY?

rhinoplastyWe now know that rhinoplasty has become one of the more popular procedures performed throughout the world. An elegant nose on a woman and a masculine nose on a man continues to be one of the most highly sought-after procedures. Furthermore, with the advent of Botox and fillers, these procedures far outweigh patients’ consumption since their inception.

That is Botox and fillers offer a quick and nonsurgical way to achieve some degree of facial rejuvenation.  They do not however provide the long-term and possibly lifetime of improvement that surgery does. However, since both classes of procedures have become so popular it’s apparent that they may complement each other. Therefore, we often are asked if Botox and fillers can be performed simultaneously as my rhinoplasty. Were honored to see many patients for these procedures.

Rhinoplasty

Primary rhinoplasty, along with revision remains a focal point of our practice as do Botox and fillers. We have found, rhinoplasty alone has changed many lives for the better creating happier more secure patients. Often during a rhinoplasty consultation, the patient will ask if forehead wrinkles can be addressed.

There is some difference of opinion as to the timing of fillers with rhinoplasty. Some patients have their Botox treatment simultaneously with their primary or revision rhinoplasty. This is perfectly acceptable. With respect to fillers, we suggest either doing them prior to rhinoplasty or waiting 3 to 6 months following the rhinoplasty to allow time for the swelling to subside.

Aesthetic procedures remain in their totality very rewarding and life-improving for patients. Safety first and the best results are our goals.
