Rhinoplasty is a very challenging operation. It requires extensive knowledge, experience, skill, training, and talent. This skill set is more essential in rhinoplasty than any other procedure and plastic surgery. Also, there is a distinct difference in philosophy and commitment to aesthetics between ear, nose, and throat doctors, and board-certified plastic surgeons who are committed to rhinoplasty surgery. Not all ENT and plastic surgeons offer rhinoplasty.
In my opinion, the aesthetic sense in the treatment of elegance is more likely with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Judgment and evaluation start with the before and after gallery. Study it extensively. Rhinoplasty represents a very significant investment financially, and emotionally. Therefore, postoperative instructions will assist you in achieving your best result.
Rhinoplasty
Two months of no strenuous activity, heavy lifting, yoga poses, for example, the downward dog must be avoided. Strenuous activity can increase bleeding as well as risk disrupting the new more aesthetic structural changes that the operative procedure has created.
Light activity for example walking within the house can be safe. No horseback riding for up to 2 to 3 months. Patients need to follow all postop instructions at their preop appointment. Qualified plastic surgeons will do their job but the rest of the healing process is outside of the service control – patient’s healing, activity, environment, etc.
Also nose piercing should be avoided for up to a year, no smoking, no nose blowing, or unnecessary touching and moving of the nose especially if you have cartilage grafts. Rhinoplasty in our practice is a top priority committed to achieving the most elegant nose for the female and a strong masculine one for the men.
